Summary

For this devastating tragedy and harsh topic, we worked hard to illustrate and demonstrate the failure modes of the collapse of Champlain Towers in Surfside, FL. The hope was to inform, to help residents in similar towers look for warning signs, and ultimately, to hold the developers responsible. It was the first time I worked to implement scrolling videos and I learned a mountain about frame rates and frame types to optimize the process.
